Abstract
Most cytotoxic chemotherapy protocols used in small animals are designed to have a low risk of adverse effects; however, adverse events can occasionally occur. Timely and appropriate management of adverse events greatly increases client satisfaction and the likelihood of a successful treatment outcome. This article presents guidelines for the management of chemotherapy-associated hematological and gastrointestinal disturbances, extravasation injury, and anaphylaxis.Entities:
