Abstract
Computer assisted diagnosis (CAD) schemes are currently used in the field of musculoskeletal diseases to quantitatively assess vertebral fractures, joint space narrowing, andr erosion. Most systems work semi-automatically, i.e. they are operator dependent in the selection of anatomical landmarks. Fully automatic programs are currently under development. Some CAD products have already been successfully used in clinical trials.Entities:
