Abstract
Closed three-port anatomic lobectomy of the lung with systematic nodal dissection was performed in 5 patients with clinical stage IA lung cancer. For removal of the resected specimen, a new technique was developed to avoid making an additional skin incision. No complications or deaths occurred after the operation, and all patients were alive longer than 27 months without recurrence, including 5-year survivors.Entities:
