Abstract
This article reviews three decision-making models for veterinary-client and physician-patient interactions and proposes adaptation of the 4E communication model from human medicine for application in veterinary-client interactions. These models incorporate specific communication skills for achieving the four components fo a client interview: engagement, empathy, education, and enlistment.Entities:
