Abstract
Determination of thumb length in children is helpful in the diagnosis of congenital syndromes and in the evaluation of the outcome after reconstruction of the thumb in congenital or post-traumatic conditions. Two hundred and sixty-two normal children were examined with a simple technique to procure information related to age, the thumb length dominance and sex. Out of all these, data growth curves and percentiles were constructed as a guideline to detect pathologies and syndromes in children.Entities:
