Abstract
Two rare cases of Gemella morbillorum endocarditis, caused by a strain resistant to penicillin and gentamicin are reported. G. morbillorum is usually sensitive to beta-lactams and aminoglycosides. The present 2 cases raise concern that appropriate prophylaxis and empirical treatment may be more complicated than believed in the past.Entities:
