Abstract
Lobular capillary hemangioma (pyogenic granuloma) has been reported more frequently in the skin (88%) than in the mucous membranes (12%). Granuloma gravidarum is a pyogenic granuloma that develops during pregnancy, often in the oral mucosa. Estrogens apparently increase the inflammatory response of mucous membranes. In this article, we describe the first case of a granuloma gravidarum of the scalp.Entities:
