Abstract
A retropharyngeal abscess is a rare presentation of Kawasaki disease. Herein, we present a case of Kawasaki disease mimicking a retropharyngeal abscess, and review five previously published case reports. Once the correct diagnosis of Kawasaki disease is established, any abscess-like lesion on computed tomography may be just a false-positive finding.Entities:
