Abstract

INTRODUCTION: Synovial sheath involvement of the foot is a rare location of tuberculosis. Its diagnosis is often delayed because of the indolent and chronicity of the clinical features. OBSERVATION: We report a case of bilateral tuberculous tenosynovitis of the anterior tibial and the common extensor of the toes, with uneventful outcome with antituberculous therapy.
CONCLUSION: Tuberculous tenosynovitis is uncommon but should be kept in mind in chronic tenosynovitis.
