Abstract
The accumulation of fluorescent age pigment or lipofuscin is a frequently observed age-associated cellular alteration in a variety of post-mitotic cells of many species. These pigments are observed within granules composed, in part, of damaged protein and lipid. In the present mini-review, I provide a comprehensive summary of fluorescent adducts originated from malondialdehyde (MDA).Entities:
