Abstract
Stroke is characterized by the sudden loss of circulation to an area of the brain, resulting in a corresponding loss of neurological function. In this article, we will discuss the epidemiology, etiopathophysiology, and symptomatology of different types of cerebrovascular diseases. Specific stroke syndromes will be reviewed to convey the myriad presentations of cerebrovascular disease.Entities:
