Health services delivery: reframing policies for global nursing migration in North America--a Canadian perspective.

Abstract

A number of initiatives are currently under way to address the Canadian Nursing Sector Study's recommendations for integrated human resource planning, including some of the particular challenges posted by international nurse migration. This article identifies and discusses some of the initiatives currently being undertaken in Ontario and elsewhere.
