Aspects of accuracy and precision in the determination of As and Sb in biological materials by neutron activation analysis.

J R Woittiez1, M Geusebroek.

Abstract

Aspects of accuracy and precision of the determination of As and Sb in biological materials, using neutron activation with hydride generation, are discussed. It proves necessary to perform a yield determination for each sample. Both radiotracers and reactivation have been applied, and their practical use for yield correction is discussed. Results for several RMs are presented.
