Systemic and locoregional dosimetry in receptor radionuclide therapy with peptides.

Abstract

This paper reviews the methods for calculating dosimetry both after systemic or locoregional injection of radiolabelled peptides. Radiopharmaceutical characteristics, data processing and dosimetric outcomes are reported. The biological effective dose, based on the linear quadratic model, is finally described.
