Abstract
The incidence of necrotizing fasciitis has increased in the past decade as a result of the resurgence severe group A streptococcal infection. Mortality has remained unchanged over the past 60 years, supporting the notion that immune modulators, such as intravenous immunoglobulin, are required to alter the physiological process during the early stages of infection.Entities:
