Abstract
While modern genomic and proteomic technology enables rapid screening of novel proteins and peptides as potential drug candidates, design of delivery systems for these biologics remains challenging especially to achieve site-specific pharmacological actions. This article discusses the issues associated with targeted delivery of protein and peptide drugs at physiochemical, physiological, and intracellular levels with a special focus on cancer therapy.Entities:
