Abstract
Concepts regarding uniform reporting of data after trauma and regarding treatment of brain trauma patients at the scene have recently been agreed upon in consensus processes. Endotracheal intubation and alternatives are as controversially discussed as fluid resuscitation and helicopter transport of trauma victims.
