Abstract
We describe bacteriophage therapy in the case of a healthcare worker whose gastrointestinal tract was colonized by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) with subsequent urinary tract infection caused by the same pathogen. Oral treatment with anti-MRSA phages resulted in eradication of the carrier status.Entities:
