Abstract
A series of novel di and trisaccharide derivatives containing d-fructose moiety at the reducing end have been synthesized and evaluated for their antihyperlipidemic activity in hyperlipidemic hamster model. Among 11 glycosyl fructose derivatives five compounds showed potent antihyperlipidemic activity either by enhancing high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol concentration and/or lowering triglyceride (TG) level.Entities:
