Abstract
Functional gastrointestinal disorders are among the most common medical problems in pediatrics. However, only a few well-designed trials have evaluated the efficacy and safety of treatments in these conditions. Data obtained from studies conducted in adults are often utilized to tailor treatment to children with functional gastrointestinal disorders. This practice might lead to substantial medication under- or over-dosing, or use of drugs for an incorrect indication.Entities:
