Laurent Spelle1, Michel Piotin, Charbel Mounayer, Jacques Moret.

Abstract

Endovascular therapy has become the key therapeutic option in intracranial aneurysm management. Safe and successful embolization requires familiarity with the devices and techniques used and keen awareness of the potential pitfalls and complications. This article is an up-to-date review of the technical aspects of endovascular therapy in intracranial saccular aneurysms, with references to specific therapeutic strategies.
