Abstract
Serum histidine-rich glycoprotein was determined by the Laurell method in patients with acute inflammation, which negatively correlated with C-reactive protein (P less than 0.005). In sequential observations, this negative relationship was apparently confirmed. Thus histidine-rich glycoprotein acts as a negative acute phase reactant.Entities:
