Abstract
Acute renal infarction is a rarely reported disease in the medical literature. Angiography, renal scintigraphy, intravenous pyelography, sonography, and enhanced computed tomography may be useful in diagnosing acute renal infarction antemortem. Therapeutic guidelines for the treatment of renal infarction have not been established. We report a case of bilateral renal infarction in an elderly woman with atrial fibrillation, which was successfully treated by thrombolytic therapy.Entities:
