Recent trends in minimally invasive cardiac surgery.

Abstract

Evolving technologies have resulted in an increase in minimally invasive cardiac surgery. Currently, robotic systems allow surgeons to perform a variety of procedures through small incisions. This changing paradigm is reviewed. Copyright 2007 S. Karger AG, Basel.
