Abstract
Morphogenesis in tissue development and repair is guided by a variety of signals from the extracellular milieu, including growth factors that are sequestered in the extracellular matrix. Bioengineering approaches have been developed to mimic the natural interactions between growth factors and the extracellular matrix, by engineering biomolecules as novel growth factors and as novel matrix components.Mesh:
