Nutcracker fractures of the cuboid.

A case report is presented involving a nutcracker fracture of the cuboid and concomitant fractures of the navicular and calcaneus. A literature review of the mechanism and treatments of the nutcracker fracture is discussed. Also presented are the methods used to radiographically evaluate and surgically correct the compression fracture of the cuboid and its associated fractures.
