Abstract
Fluorescence quenching of 3-methyl 7-hydroxyl Coumarin in prescence of the acetone is reported here. It was found that the quenching observed was of dynamic nature. It is also observed that quenching of the fluorescence of the indicator had a full reversiblity. As it has a full reversiblity, a novel optical sensor for acetone can be constructed on this quenching.Entities:
