Abstract
The word "taste" includes olfaction and somatosensory information besides the proper sense of taste. Taste and somatosensory sensitivity are very close and overlapping in most central nervous system projection areas. The objective of the present paper is to review a series of experiments disclosing functional neurophysiological interactions between taste and somatosensory information at different levels.Mesh：
