Abstract
[reaction: see text] The reaction of alpha-sulfonyl acetamide 1 with various cyclic unsaturated esters 2 to fused bicyclic glutarimides is reported. Syntheses of (+/-)-alloyohimbane (4) and louisianin D (5) have been accomplished.Entities:
