Capecitabine-induced cerebellar toxicity.

Daniel Renouf1, Sharlene Gill.

Abstract

Capecitabine is an oral prodrug of 5-fluorouracil used in the treatment of adenocarcinoma of the colon. Neurotoxicity is an infrequently reported toxicity of capecitabine. We report a case of cerebellar ataxia secondary to capecitabine therapy.
