Abstract
Southern bean mosaic virus RNA was translated in wheat embryo extracts and in nuclease-treated rabbit reticulocyte lysates. Four principal products were synthesized: two related products with molecular weights of 105,000 and 75,000, a product with a molecular weight of 29,000 that closely resembled coat protein, and a product with a molecular weight of 14,000.
