Abstract
Uterine scar has been reported as a possible cause of intermenstrual bleeding in women with previous cesareans. We evaluated the effectiveness of combined hormonal therapy (estrogen and progesterone tablets containing 0.5 mg of norgestrel and 0.05 mg of ethynyl estradiol) in patients with recurring vaginal bleeding after cesarean section. Several cycles of the hormonal therapy eliminated the problem of abnormal vaginal bleeding, and the patients were satisfied with the treatment.Entities:
