Abstract
Gastric outlet obstruction initiated by acute gastric volvulus is rare but potentially fatal. An unusual case of intrathoracic acute gastric volvulus complicated by distal stomach and transverse colon herniation into retrocardial space is reported. Prompt clinical diagnosis was followed by emergency laparoscopic de-rotation and gastropexy.Entities:
