Abstract
We describe a 60-year-old man with ankylosing spondylitis (AS), hospitalized for leg ulcers. Laboratory investigations revealed the presence of the lupus anticoagulant. We found no such an association by a computer assisted search of the literature published from 1975 to 1989. The relationship between the AS, the lupus anticoagulant and leg ulcers is discussed.Entities:
