Abstract
In our department, laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy has gradually replaced hysterectomy by laparotomy in patients with a benign condition and no history of cervical dysplasia. During the last year, we experienced serious complications in two patients because of inadequate removal of the tissue in the morcellator procedure.
