Abstract
Data on one hundred twenty impaired physicians were analyzed to determine treatment outcomes from three differing types of chemical dependency treatment. The data showed that long-term (three to four months) treatment geared specifically to health care professionals was the most effective treatment modality, showing higher rates of favorable treatment outcomes measured by abstinence from alcohol and other drugs.Entities:
