Abstract
Sespendole was isolated as an inhibitor of lipid droplet formation in macrophages from the culture broth of a fungal strain Pseudobotrytis terrestris FKA-25. The compound inhibited the synthesis of cholesteryl ester and triacylglycerol by mouse macrophages with IC50 values of 4.0 and 3.2 microM, respectively.Entities:
