[The successful separation of a craniopagus].

The article describes successful separation of craniopagus--two-year-old girls fused in the parieto-frontal regions. The results of preoperative examination, the operation, and the postoperative period are described in detail. The given case is compared with data in the literature. It is recommended that the operation for separating craniopagus should be undertaken as early as possible.
