Abstract
Casein kinase II is involved in the phosphorylation of several proto-oncogenes, anti-oncogenes, and oncogenes that are nuclear transcriptional regulatory factors. The potential functions of the phosphorylations in each of these proteins are evaluated. New findings indicate that casein kinase II is a critical component of the mechanisms regulating the cell cycle.Mesh:
