Abstract
We present a case of azygous vein aneurysm diagnosed by dynamic contrast-enhanced CT scan. The patient refused surgical resection, although it was offered as one of the treatment options due to theoretical risks of rupture and pulmonary embolism. The patient has been managed conservatively for 4 years with no untoward outcomes. The aneurysm showed no change in size or thrombus formation. The patient remained asymptomatic. Our case showed that conservative management may be a reasonable approach for asymptomatic azygous vein aneurysm with no thrombus formation.Entities:
