Abstract
For the theoretic advantages of 3T units to translate to improved diagnostic quality, careful attention must be paid to optimization of pulse sequences and development of clinically feasible imaging protocols. RARE sequences continue to be the choice for routine clinical imaging of the head and neck; although exquisite T2W images are afforded, T1W imaging is problematic. Short ETLT1W RARE imaging seems to be a good compromise.Mesh:
