Abstract
The treatment of lower urinary symptoms secondary to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) after failure of medical therapies remains controversial for most urologic surgeons. The complications of traditional surgery are the driving force behind the development of several minimally invasive treatments of symptomatic BPH. Laser prostatectomy is one of the most investigated such modalities. In this article we reviewed the results of the most common types of lasers used in prostatic surgery.Entities:
