Abstract
This case report describes a preterm baby with juvenile extracutaneous xanthogranuloma that rapidly expanded. The tumor was excised because of rapid enlargement and extension into the thoracic inlet. To our knowledge, this is the first case of a preterm baby with extracutaneous juvenile xanthogranuloma. The case illustrates the need for careful surveillance of this lesion because it cannot always be managed conservatively.Entities:
