Abstract
We present a case of this uncommon congenital anomaly of the perineum. A 6-month-old baby had a perineal groove excised for cosmetic reasons. The histology showed a strip of squamous epithelium with an intervening area lined by rectal type of mucosa, suggesting an embryological remnant such as urorectal septum.Entities:
