Abstract
Acne vulgaris is a common disease with prevalence up to 80 % during adolescence. Twin studies provide solid evidence of a genetic background for this disease. Similarly there is no doubt about the influences of hormones, especially androgens, on the disorder. Less clear, however, is the data on other risk factors as smoking and certain diets.Entities:
