Abstract
Although a common diagnosis, adjustment disorder has received little scientific attention, and instead the focus has been on major depression. It is likely that adjustment disorder and major depression have been conflated and the reasons for this are explored. Delineating one from the other clearly has crucial therapeutic and financial implications.Entities:
