Abstract
The tissue microarray technique (TMA) represents a powerful diagnostic "high-throughput" tool to analyse DNA/RNA or protein alterations in large patient cohorts in a time and cost effective way. This review focuses on the clinical application of TMA in renal cell carcinoma in modern "translational" medicine--"from bench to bedside". In particular, the advantages of TMA for diagnosis, prognosis and decisions for therapy will be considered in relation to renal cell cancer.Entities:
