Abstract
We describe the first case report of a mycotic abdominal aortic aneurysm secondary to Capnocytophaga canimorsus in an immunocompetent 65-year-old man. The exposure occurred after his dog scratched his arm and subsequently licked the wound. A review of C. canimorsus, a rarely pathogenic but potentially devastating bacterium, is also presented.Entities:
