Abstract
The concept of monoclonal antibodies evoked great excitement when first described, but usefulness has been limited by their murine origin and consequent immunogenicity. Human monoclonal antibodies which would obviate xenotypic responses-can now be produced. Clinical implications-including use against HIV-are discussed.Entities:
