Abstract
Subtrochanteric femoral shortening and a corrective osteotomy are considered to be an integral part of total hip arthroplasty for a completely dislocated hip or a severe deformity of the proximal femur. A precise subtrochanteric osteotomy is mandatory to achieve good results for such cases. We herein describe a new simple device for accurately performing precise subtrochanteric V-shaped osteotomy.Entities:
